Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Operate and manage audio mixing consoles during live events and broadcasts.
- Maintain audio signal flow across microphones, playback devices, streaming interfaces, and intercom systems.
- Collaborate with producers, technical directors, and talent to ensure clear, balanced sound.
- Perform sound checks, troubleshoot issues on-the-fly, and maintain audio quality throughout production.
- Mix live music, voice, effects, and ambient sound for both in-room and streamed audiences.
- Set up and tear down audio equipment efficiently between events.
Qualifications:
- Experience with professional audio consoles (e.g., Yamaha, etc.) in live event or broadcast settings.
- Familiarity with DAWs (e.g., Pro Tools, Logic Pro) and audio routing systems.
- Strong understanding of live audio mixing, EQ, compression, and signal processing.
- Ability to troubleshoot under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach with multi-department crews.
- Local to Atlanta and available for on-site work.
