Function of the Group: This designer is a part of the Ledger Design System team working on the Mobile design documentation, supporting Figma components and support for Ledger.
Industry background: Banking/Finance

Roles and Responsibilities:
Have experience as a UX product designer working on a design system
Have reviewed other product designer's designs for alignment with the design system
Experience creating Figma components
Experience working with developers / engineers in the implementation of design system component libraries to make sure the built experience aligns with the standards
Understand and have experience with researching UX best practices
Have experience creating designs with WCAG standards / ADA accessibility
Ability to conduct design system audits across digital experiences
Experience with design system governance practices
Facilitation of governance meetings and open office hours
Ability to work help desk to support product designer questions and inquiries

Must have technical skills (Min 8+yrs of exp required in all of the below skills)
Design Systems experience - ideally working on a design system (using at minimum but hopefully contributing/maintaining)
Figma experience - creation of components, component building important
UI, UX
Systems thinking mindset
