Job Description

The Analyst is responsible for performing complex financial analysis in support of various business objectives. This role involves evaluating budgets, strategic plans, product lines, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and financial functions such as treasury and credit. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical expertise and advanced Excel skills to drive insights and support decision-making processes.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform Financial Analysis
    Conduct in-depth financial analysis in areas including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support decision-making at both departmental and organizational levels.

  • Support Strategic Planning
    Analyze data related to strategic initiatives, helping leadership evaluate performance, market trends, and long-term goals.

  • Product Line Analysis
    Evaluate the profitability and performance of specific product lines or business units to identify areas for growth or improvement.

  • Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Support
    Assist in analyzing potential M&A opportunities, including financial modeling, due diligence support, and integration planning.

  • Treasury and Credit Functions
    Provide support in evaluating liquidity, managing cash flow, or assessing credit exposure and financial risk.

  • Collaboration and Reporting
    Work closely with managers and senior managers to compile reports and present actionable insights.

Qualifications
  • Education
    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

  • Experience
    3–6 years of prior experience in accounting and/or financial analysis, preferably in a corporate or strategic finance setting.

  • Technical Skills

    • Advanced Excel skills required (e.g., pivot tables, complex formulas, data modeling).

    • Experience with Oracle or similar financial systems is a plus.

  • Analytical Ability
    Proven strength in interpreting and synthesizing complex data to generate meaningful insights and recommendations.

  • Communication Skills
    Must be able to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and present data-driven findings to stakeholders.

  • Reporting Structure
    Typically reports to a Manager or Senior Manager within the finance or strategy team.
