Position Summary
We are looking for a Furniture Installer to add to our team. You will be expected to install and assemble office furniture, including systems furniture, case goods, lounge furniture, accessories, etc. within customers' facilities in a professional and efficient manner. You will be responsible for timely completion of projects with a high level of workmanship and customer service.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Eye for detail
- Ability to read plans (architectural and furniture) for specific furniture locations and arrangements preferred
- Ability to read furniture assembly instructions preferred
- Ability to work with technology such as using your phone for looking up information on projects and receiving instructions for the day
- Ability to take instruction from others
- Ability to work well with a team, but also be able to work on your own
- Self motivated
- Problem solving is key
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs on a consistent basis
- Customer Service skills
- Strong communication skills
- Time management and organizational skills
- Ability to handle difficult situations in a calm and professional manner with both customers and coworkers
- Hardworking and strong desire to succeed
- Must be self-directing and able to adapt quickly to changing conditions
- Availability to occasionally work after hours and weekends
Education & Experience
- Experience working with your hands and basic tools – mechanically inclined
- Must have valid drivers license
