CORE Cycle.Fitness.Lagree is a premier boutique studio located in Wayland Square, Providence, offering a variety of modalities including Lagree, Cycle, FitBench + Treads, TRX, Barre, Boxing and Personal Training. We are a community-driven space that promotes movement, connection, and evolution, both physically and mentally.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate Mat Pilates Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of Pilates principles, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to create a safe, motivating, and inclusive environment for clients of all fitness levels.
Responsibilities:
- Lead engaging, high-quality Mat Pilates classes focused on form, alignment, and mindful movement.
- Offer modifications and progressions to accommodate all fitness levels and physical limitations.
- Create playlists or class atmospheres that enhance the experience and reflect CORE’s energetic brand.
- Arrive prepared and on time for all classes; ensure a smooth transition between sessions.
- Build genuine connections with clients and help foster community within the studio.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio space.
- Collaborate with management to promote classes, special events, and member engagement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Current Pilates Mat certification (required).
- Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience preferred.
- CPR/AED certification (preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and safely challenge clients.
