ENDOSCOPY

Job Title: RN – Endoscopy - Registered Nurse

Rate: Up to $2500.00 weekly

Location: Geneva, NY

Day Shift (9H) (4x9 hr) (36 hr/wk)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing patients for endoscopic procedures by conducting pre-procedure assessments and providing education about the process.
• Monitor patients during procedures, ensuring vital signs and patient safety protocols are maintained.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and procedural outcomes.
• Administer medications and assist in sedation as per established protocols.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to infection control standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.

Experience

• Prefer a minimum of one (1) year clinic experience
• Experience in an endoscopy or procedural nursing role.
• Knowledge of endoscopic procedures and related patient care protocols.
• Familiarity with endoscopy equipment and instruments.
• Understanding of medication administration protocols and safety standards.

Licenses/Certifications

• Have and maintain current active Registered Nurse (RN) license within the state of employment.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification.
