Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Substitute Teacher to join our team in the West Shore SD. This role involves providing quality educational support in diverse classroom settings, contributing to the success of students and schools alike. Responsibilities

• Manage classroom behavior to create a safe and conducive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse student populations.
• Collaborate with full-time teachers and school staff.
• Maintain accurate attendance and student records.
• Support students' social, emotional, and academic development.
• Follow school policies and procedures diligently.
• Foster a positive learning atmosphere that encourages student participation.
• Qualifications

' Prior teaching or classroom management experience is preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments.
• Knowledge of curriculum development and lesson planning.
• Experience working with children, including those with special needs, is advantageous.
• Reliable, flexible, and professional attitude.
• Certification or licensing as required by state regulations is a plus.
