Start Date ASAP

This engineering role, within our AI Enablement team, is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining a data-driven web application for reporting on usage metrics of our AI capabilities. This role will primarily leverage Angular for the UI, Python/FastAPI for microservices, Postgres for service data, and Databricks (with Unity Catalog) for data engineering pipelines, operating in Azure cloud (AKS).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of experience developing web applications with Angular and TypeScript
• Proven experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs; familiarity with FastAPI or similar frameworks
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and data engineering, including data schema design, Data money
• Experience implementing sustainable engineering practices - automated testing, CI/CD, and monitoring/alerting
• Strong problem-solving ability with comfort handling vague requirements and fast iteration cycles
• Excellent communication skills with proven success collaborating across data science, product, and engineering teams
• Ability to work independently, make rapid decisions, and adapt quickly to new technologies

Nice to Have

• Experience building or scaling FastAPI services in production environments
• Background in full-stack development or data-driven product engineering / Product data driven-figure
• Familiarity with cloud deployment patterns (Azure preferred)
• Strong aptitude for cross-functional collaboration and mentoring peers

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain web applications using TypeScript and Angular, integrating seamlessly with FastAPI-based microservices

Design and build reusable UI components and cloud-native applications optimized for performance, scalability, and low latency

Participate in the full software development lifecycle - from design and development to testing, deployment, and ongoing enhancement

Collaborate within Azure Cloud environments, contributing to reliable and secure cloud-based solutions

Develop deep subject matter expertise in supported products and components, serving as a technical resource for the team

Participate in estimation, sprint planning, retrospectives, and code reviews to improve accuracy and delivery outcomes

Bring innovative perspectives to problem-solving and continuously seek opportunities to improve systems, tools, and development practices
